The scratch-paper interaction

A persona doesn't paste a diagram into a sentence — he holds up the page. The spoken line stays in the bubble; the mermaid fence is lifted onto the wildcard. Tap his line — or the ∞ — to bring the board up. Live Mermaid inside.

Wait — when you say the gradient "flows back", what's actually moving where?

Yeah, that's the part words make worse, not better.

The three beats
  1. Say it. His bubble lands with the human-voice line — "clearer if I draw it" — and a diagram chip. The raw ```mermaid never shows in chat.
  2. Arrive. The ∞ gets a red dot + a nudge; the chip shimmers. You feel the paper come out.
  3. Open. Tap the chip (or the ∞) → the wildcard slides in, focused on his card, flashing it. The card shows a contained preview; tap it to expand, then pinch & drag to explore.
